Dial in to EAUC's Sharing Series to hear from some peers in the sector about sustainable food policy and food growing at their institutions.

In this session we will hear from Bekki Laycock, from Keele University.  Bekki has just completed her PhD, a case study of the NUS' Student Eats scheme.
We will also be hearing from Anya Doherty from Foodsteps,  Anya’s research at the University of Cambridge Conservation Research Institute focused on improving methods for calculating the carbon footprint and land use of catered meals.  She started Foodsteps as a result of her research.

Our Sharing Series will take place virtually by webinar on the first Wednesday of every month from 11am-12noon over the 2019-20 academic year. Read more and see the full schedule for the year ahead.

This is an informal online sharing opportunity, where people working within further and higher education are invited to meet through our webinar software to share their experiences and questions on specific topics connected to sustainability. We aim to create an interactive platform, rather than a webinar lecture, where we have microphones and webcams switched on to allow debate to flow freely around the topic area with all participants.

Therefore, we expect all participants to have access to a computer, laptop or phone with microphone and camera in order to fully participate in this event. If this will not be possible, or you need IT support, please let us know in advance on scotland@eauc.org.uk. More information can be found in the Zoom User Guide which can be downloaded from the event booking page.

Once booked on we will send through instructions on how to join us virtually on the day.

If you are not able to attend the webinar, let us know and we can send you the 'Best Practice' document that will outline the key information.
