EAUC Leadership Lab 2024

Apply to join us at Cambridge University in 2024, when we gather again, to explore contemporary insights and practices in leadership and change management. This transformational personal and professional development leadership laboratory seeks to create a co-development space where you can build your expertise and confidence as a strategic sustainability leader. Your work in higher education or a related sector will involve concerted efforts to co-create thriving, sustainable communities based on equity.

Chair: Professor Wendy M. Purcell PhD FRSA, Academic Research Scholar, Harvard University and Visiting Professor, University College London, University President Emerita and Emeritus Professor

The course focuses on leaders, future leaders, and change agents to support them in their efforts to advance sustainable development within and through their own institution that also contributes to delivery of the Sustainable Development Goals.  The focus is on personal and professional development to support strategic leadership and team-based execution, re-thinking change agency in these challenging times, emphasizing the critical role of higher education to creating a world that leaves no one behind.

The 2024 Leadership Lab will give delegates the opportunity to work directly with peers to explore complex transformation challenges and create pathways for change that lead to actionable solutions. A focus on what works and change hacks seeks to support each delegate with the change project they are personally engaged with in pursuing sustainability within their institution.  Alongside new insights on leadership theory and practice,  the lab will include reflections from practice with guests speakers sharing their experience. Delegates will benefit from uninterrupted time to discuss, review and make use of the expertise from one another, the faculty and speakers, and the curated learning resources. This is an immersive in-person event that makes best use of the beautiful environment of Westminster College.

As part of the EAUC's continuing drive to support and increase the diversity of thought leadership in the sector, we have some funding for delegates from underrepresented groups. Those wishing to apply for a place under this funding should include this in their application.
